In that week the Shanghai International Creative Industry Week will be held in Shanghai and the Netherlands is one of the participants. We are looking for students with excellent Mandarin and English speaking skills who can assist Dutch Architect companies and Designers with setting up meetings, visiting potential partners, translating etc. The student will be paid around 300 RMB a day.

Dutch Design Works! in China
Dutch Design Fashion and Architecture (DutchDFA) proudly presents the participation of the Netherlands in the Shanghai International Creative Industry Week 2009 (SICIW2009) from 15 – 21 October 2009. Under the header “Architecture & Public Space” the Netherlands organises an innovative exhibition with a great variety of Dutch architects and designers. It will be accompanied by a broad networking and matchmaking programme.
Exhibition
The growth in numbers and size of China’s new cities is enormous and therefore architecture and public space are becoming more important in the day-to-day lives of these cities’ new residents and users, many of whom have originally come from smaller cities or the Chinese countryside.
The Dutch exhibition during the SICIW focuses on architecture and public space. The Netherlands has a long-standing tradition in the design of public space and takes in a leading position in this area. On different levels and from different disciplines the Netherlands has something to offer to the Chinese market: from signage systems (think of Schiphol airport) to large-scale development of urban areas such as Delta Metropool. The projects and products that will feature in the exhibition will demonstrate the Netherlands’ expertise and qualities when it comes to sustainable development and design of urban areas.
Dutch programme
In addition to the design exhibition the Dutch entry organises a broad and varied programme of matchmaking and networking activities. Receptions and presentations, lectures and parties will stimulate knowledge exchange and create business opportunities. The special Dutch Day (October 17) highlights fashion from the Netherlands and features the Dutch Party. The Dutch Design Lounge welcomes visitors at any time, to relax or to build on relations in an inspiring environment.
The planned incubator programme, which is linked to SICIW and will be launched during the SICIW, will provide further options to maintain and to enhance the connection with Shanghai
During the SICIW2009 DutchDFA also supports the travelling exhibition “Social Energy”, about contemporary communication design from the Netherlands and supports the product and interior design fair “100% Design Shanghai”.

荷蘭設計作品!在中國
荷蘭產品時尚和建築設計協會(DutchDFA/DDFA)榮幸地代表荷蘭參加2009年10月15日至21日的2009上海國際創意產業活動周(SICIW).以建築設計和公共空間為主題, 荷蘭將組織一場有大量荷蘭建築師和設計師的創新展覽. 這次荷蘭將帶來廣闊的相關網絡機構和商業對接活動.
展覽會
中國新城市在數量和規模上的增長都是巨大的.因此建築物和公共空間對於這些城市新的居民和使用者的日常生活來說正變得更加重要,他們中的許多人原來都是來自較小的城市或農村.
在上海國際創意產業活動周期間, 荷蘭的展覽將以建築和公共空間為焦點. (這一領域在中國尚未發展) 荷蘭長久以來有公共空間設計的傳統並且在這個領域占主導地位.荷蘭在不同的層面和方案上都能給中國市場提供一些東西:從標識系統 (想到史基浦機場)到城市地區:比如 Metropool 三角洲的大規模發展. 當涉及到城市地區的可持續發展和設計時, 在展覽上將起重要作用的項目和作品將證明荷蘭的專業知識和品質.
活動周期間荷蘭展覽活動
除了舉辦設計展之外,荷蘭將組織廣泛和多樣的商業對接活動和網絡聚會活動：招待酒會、演講、講座和聚會將促進知識交流和創造合作商機。

另外，荷蘭將在本屆上海市國際創意產業活動周舉辦期間🤵🏽♀️，與上海市創意產業中心合作，為了幫助荷蘭設計師和設計企業加強與上海的合作，荷蘭設計孵化基地項目也將榮重啟動🤹🏿♀️。
在2009上海國際創意產業活動周(SICIW2009)期間,DDFA還舉辦“社會能量”巡回展覽👰🏻♀️，
展示關於來自荷蘭的當代新媒體與平面設計🚤，同時也聯合國際著名展覽公司 - 分之百設計公司共同舉辦荷蘭家居產品及室內設計展🦶🏿。
